Manchaca, TX 78652
The rich history of Menchaca Elementary School began in the late 1800s. Named after Tejano Army Officer José Antonio Menchaca, it was originally built as a one-room schoolhouse. Modern-day Menchaca is beautifully renovated, with murals, wildflower and vegetable gardens, a pond and Menchaca Meadows. In partnership with parents and our community, we provide a learning environment of the highest quality that promotes academic success for all children. The philosophy at Menchaca is that all children can achieve their goals when they believe in themselves.
